For our day job - we’re experimenting with MetaLabel for creating art in community - and collaborating - with niche neighbors and professional peers to build a brand (in their parlance - a “label” ) in the mindfulness and mental health space - where all contributors have a financial stake in the collective).
It isn’t lost on me how powerful this sort of publishing process could be for Jewish authors/artists and entrepreneurs who feel othered and ignored by the mainstream publishing platforms. If you’re feeling overlooked and ostracized - build your own brand - on your own land - in community - for community - with other authors, artists and creators you like and admire. Stop outsourcing the permission to publish your words - and your work.
Own your own voice. Build your own audience. Cultivate your own communities. I know this is an unpopular opinion amongst the folks who feel the world has turned against Jewish creators - but it’s simply untrue.
If you’re not finding alternative options to thrive as a writer - as a creator - or as an online publisher in 2025 - you’re simply pushing on the wrong doors - we are better together - and the opportunities are everywhere.
Step back - deep breaths - and look again.
